What is the Live Fire Shoothouse?

This Shoothouse is pistol-caliber only and built for close-quarters battle (CQB) and home defense simulations. Whether you're using a 9mm handgun or a 9mm carbine, the mission is the same: move through the house, identify threats, and eliminate them before they get you. But there’s a catch — you’re at a disadvantage. You’re moving. They’re not. And in real life, movement catches the eye before stillness does.

Key Lessons from the Course:

• Distance from corners matters — Hugging a wall can save your life by giving you the visual edge before fully entering a room.

• Tactical reloads — Don’t wait until you're empty. Learn to “top off” like you’re filling up a gas tank.

• Watch your angles — Missing one corner could mean getting “killed.” It’s all about proper scanning and body positioning.

• Technology can fail — Red dot sights are great until they stop working. Always know how to shoot with iron sights.
